Scalp Disorders - Understanding Scalp Issues related to Bumps, Warts, Scabies, Breakouts, Flaking and Scalp Fungus

Author: Jacob

This article will address the main things that every victim of scalp problems needs to be aware of when searching for a reliable remedy.

See, having been a former victim of scalp infections in the past, I can tell you a few things that will save you lots of time and lots of money. What are these things? They're really not "things" per say, but more like a word of advice, that you would do well to pay close attention to if you want to be free of your mysterious and relentless scalp disorder.

First thing first,

1. IF any scalp related websites you come across guarantees to heal you within minutes, know right now that such sites are complete BS. In other words, they're rip-offs. There is absolutely no product available out there that is capable of instantaneously curing scalp diseases in a matter of minutes. It is not possible and you will most definitely end up disappointed yet again, only this time, you would have wasted more money.

See, the thing about Scalp infections is that, they often don't develop overnight. They gradually start off small over the course of time and then mushroom unexpectedly into an agonizing discomfort. During their process of growth, they lay deep foundations in your scalp that eventually becomes impossible to get rid off if not addressed quickly and with the right medicinal potency.

Now, here's another thing you need to know when looking for remedies for your itchy scalp condition. Most scalp related products out there will only provide you temporary relief, never permanent. The types of products I'm referring to are:

1. Shampoos
2. Soaps
3. Creams

Yes, in the ads for these scalp products, those who sell them may sing and dance and promise you the world but if the items that they are trying to sell you fall under the category of the aforementioned products, brace yourself for a major disappointment.

These scalp products are what I called "external products" because they only "attempt" to fight scalp infections externally without paying regard to their internal root causes.

As I already stated at the onset of this article, I am a former victim of scalp infections (notice the plural). And being as I have experience with the diseases, I can tell you that attacking your scalp only on the external front will be a guaranteed waste of time.

Scalp infections aren't what they appear to be. They aren't just infections that a typical ointment can be applied to and made to disappear. No. To vehemently attack your scalp problem, you need to address its physiological internal root causes. What are these causes?

The internal causes of scalp infections are hormonal imbalances which are often triggered by stress and diet, or a combination of both. These internal causes, coupled with external factors such as bacterial infections, make for a hellish experience for the unfortunate person who has to endure them. The symptoms of these scalp ailments are endless, but some of the major ones includes:

Scalp Bumps - also referred to as scalp pimples or scalp acne

Scalp Warts - is similar to Scalp Cysts

Scalp Blisters, Scalp Breakouts - these are chronic skin conditions characterized by inflammation and irritation of the scalp. The severity of extent of these conditions is highly variable. It may be caused by allergies, irritants or other factors such as stress and/or diet.

Scalp flaking (not itchy), Scalp Scabies - this is usually the beginning indication of a scalp issue. if not addressed quickly and aggressively treated with the correct medicines, this will develop into something much worse, thereby causing unbearable itchy misery.

Scalp Bleeding, Red Burning Itchy scalp - this usually occurs as a result of extreme itching/scratching of the scalp. If you're suffering from this condition, your situation is definitely severe and must be treated ASAP otherwise risk permanent scalp damage and loss of hair.

Scalp Fungus / Scalp Fungi - often caused by contact with an infected person and or object.

Scalp Sores - this is when a scalp problem has gotten worse and there are now open wounds or breaks (usually from scratching) on your scalp. This is bad as it will lead to extremely irritable infections that will make life very uncomfortable for you, if it hasn't already.

If the scalp issue you suffer from fits any of the ones described above, you must STOP believing or thinking that shampoos will permanently cure you.

I have already been through the hell that you're going through and I know that shampoos and other products like it, are a waste of money when attempting to cure a severe scalp infection.

So the million dollar question now is, if shampoos, creams and soaps will not permanently cure scalp infections, what will?

The below is the golden answer to your prayer:

1. B-Lactam Germicidal Antibiotics
2. Prescription Hydrating Cleanser
3. An Hormonal Imbalance Correction Medicine

And the secret to this cure is that, they MUST be used in a combined fashion!

  1. Little itchy bumps?
I noticed new (goosebump like) bumps on the underside of my penis shaft. I got STD tested last year (all was negative) and haven’t had sex since. I went to Planned Parenthood and they told me the bumps were not warts or herpes, but more like a reaction to something. Now they itch a little bit but they are not red, they are still just skin colored. Wanted to know if anyone knew what it might be.

  2. Plantar Warts or just itchy skin?
I noticed yesterday that my big toe on the left foot itched really badly. It is on the bottom of the toe. I checked it out today, and I have two small to medium sized callus looking things there. I didn’t see any “seeds”. They weren’t yellow or brown – more the color of my skin or slightly more pinky. I have had a wart or two on my fingers before – they are always really tiny. Smaller than the head of a pin. Usually, just a small brown dot. I leave it alone and it goes away. (Doc confirmed it was a wart – just very small.) They always itch like crazy on me. Do you think the two bumps on the bottom of my big toe could be warts? Or are plantar warts only on the sole of the foot? If there are no seeds, how can I tell what it is? I don’t have insurance and can’t see a doctor. I need to do what I can at home. I did use an emery board to take off any dead skin and soaked a cottonball in vinegar and taped to it. Any other ideas?

    • From your description, it DOES sound like they’re warts. If I were you, given how difficult it is to get rid of plantar warts (tho I’ve never had one), I’d “nip it in the bud”. They have these over the counter freezing kids you can use. Try that and see what happens. Otherwise, tell your Dr. to get rid of it before it gets pushed deep into the skin and is much harder to treat!

  3. Itchy pimples/bumps under skin on sole of foot?
About half way up the outside edge of my (right) foot I have what feels like a tiny pimple under the skin on my foot I also have about 3 on the sole of the same foot (again on right side) – they get very itchy especially when my feet are warm. The skin here is also quite dry and looks like skin you should pumice and mouisturise. I could itch these for minutes on end but it makes it more itchy to do so I try my best not to.

They don’t feel or look like veruccas/planter warts as I have these before. Additionally they don’t hurt with pressure which my experience of veruccas always has. The only time they hurt is if you press something sharper like a finger nail on them (through socks not actually directly touching them).

I probably will go to a podiatrist eventually as they are driving me to distraction but I wondered if anyone knew what it could be ….

    Thanks

    • Just taking a guess here, since you have no picture to show, but what you might be dealing with is a vesicular tinia pedis. It’s not a common manifestation, but I’ve seen a few cases in my clinical experience.

Typical treatment is with topical antifungals. Seeing a podiatrist is a bit extreme since it’s not a mechanical issue. A general practitioner should be able to treat this without seeing a specialist.

      Best of luck!

  4. Bizarre skin: bumps on my hands?
I have this weird skin issue that I want to actually be able to explain. I’ve been noticing it for two or three years now.
On my hands, I have these bumps. They slightly resemble pimples, though nothing comes out of them and they are each about the size of a pin head. They don’t sit in large clusters; there’s about two or three in randomly placed groups on the back of my hand. They also appear up my fingers.
They’re not painful, itchy, oozy or anything of the sorts. They are simply just irritating. I’ve tried wart cream to remove them, but they are clearly not warts since they don’t go away.
I’m am also not allergic to anything, either. So it’s out of the question that I’ve come into contact with something and it came out like this.

Can somebody please identify my skin issue and tell me how I can fix it?

  5. Itchy red bumps on pubic area?
I am a 18 year old sexually active female, with several partners. Though, I have been with only one person continuously, unprotected recently. I noticed maybe a little less than a week ago that I had itchy red bumps on my pubic area. Not on, or around my vagina, just on the area above it. It is extremely itchy, at times. A couple are bigger and more noticeable, and some are just very small. One seemed to have gotten white under the skin and I popped it, and it crusted over, and none have gotten that way since.
I also noticed that after I had sex I bled a little from my vagina, even though I am not on my period. And It was very little blood, almost not noticeable. It also burned pretty bad when I peed and I was pretty sore.
I also noticed that I often get itchy red bumps on my thighs, and I never really paid attention to it before.

I don’t know if the burning and bleeding is related to my red itchy bumps, or what it could be.
Or if that is just the cause of rough sex.
But it happened the last couple times, the burning and soreness, not the bleeding.
Or if my itchy bumps on my thighs could be the same thing?

Could it be herpes, or HPV warts?
Though, they don’t seem to look anything like any of the pictures I saw of them.

    • It sounds like Herpes. 1 in 5 people have the herpes virus so don’t freak out. They kinda look like little blisters, they dont really pop like an ingrown hair. Just ask to get them checked at the doc, but make sure they are still there when you ask so they can swab you :)

      Good luck
